I’d just like to mention The Rocker, and how I watched it, and how it was very dull. The BF liked it and I’m not sure why, though he may or may not have poor taste in movies. (No judgment here!) What little definable conflict there was in the movie was quickly and fairly easily resolved. Although I have a total semi for Emma Stone, the rest of the cast lacked chemistry and the dialogue was not nearly risky enough for a bunch of teenaged rockers. The jokes fell flat (the ones I could even detect, anyway), and what’s-his-face was not nearly as comical as his Office counterpart. It was a disappointment but not a complete waste of time.
Ok, yes it was.
To make me feel better:
A coworker told me that I should start a blog where I review movies (probably, she was tired of hearing me rave about all the latest movies), so here it is. Let’s see how long I can keep it up before switching between two tumblr accounts becomes too annoying.
An Oscar nominations post seems fitting, I think. I never used to be terribly interested in the Oscars, but it’s only within the past year or two that I’ve actually really gotten into movie watching. So, what I think about the Oscar nominations… or, the ones I care about, anyway.
